Abstract

Heidegger's reproach in the direction of Husserl, that he has "missed" (Versäumnis) the question of the existence of intentionality, may be returned to himself: In Sein and Zeit, he misses the phenomenon of corporeity. The reasons for this failure amount to a "failure of Sein and Zeit" (D. Franck). Heidegger's first auto-interpretation of Sein and Zeit confirms this failure. It is only in the Zollikon Seminars that the phenomenon of corporeity receives a broader interpretation which may be qualified as phenomenological. The general axiomatics of Heidegger's ontology however are not questioned.
